Lent / Easter Schedule of Events

Sunday, March 29 — Palm/Passion Sunday – Cook’s Easter Cantata @ 10am (Sanctuary)   Sunday, March 29 — UNITY Sunday – Immediately following worship the joy of fellowship continues as we stay for a Pot-Luck lunch. Bring a side or dessert to share and the church will provide the entrée, paper products and drinks. Sunday School classes are encouraged to move their meeting time to 8:45am or to meet following the potluck lunch.    Thursday, April 2 — Maundy Thursday – 6:30pm (Friendship Hall)   Friday, April 3 — Good Friday observance of following (at our own pace) modern stations of the cross – a highlight of this holy season 7:00am – 7:00pm (Friendship Hall)   Sunday, April 5 — Sonrise Worship – Eric Coomer and the Cook’s Praise Band lead us to greet Easter morning with joyful worship @ 6:30am (Church Pavilion)   Sunday, April 5 — Easter Breakfast Our United Methodist Men will provide a warm breakfast. Serving in the Youth Room @ 7:30am – 8:15am (donations welcome)   Sunday, April 5 — Easter Traditional Worship, Cook’s Sanctuary at 8:45am   Sunday, April 5 — Sunday School for all ages, 10:00-10:50am   Sunday, April 5 — “The Well” Worship, Cook’s Friendship Hall @ 11:00am
